Dr. Jeanny Liu and Dr. Deborah Olson, Assistant Professor of Management & Leadership, Assistant Professor of Marketing, recently published “Curriculum Redesign: Engaging Net Generation Students Through Integration of Social Media in Business Education” in Cutting-edge Social Media Approaches to Business Education: Teaching with LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Second Life, and Blogs, edited by Charles Wankel. Liu and Olson focus on how to integrate social media into class assignments and redesign curriculum to provide business students with meaningful learning experiences that will engage them in the concepts. Making changes to course delivery facilitates the development of skills that students need to be effective in today’s evolving organizations.
