Im just 15 years old and Ive always wanted to learn Russian my whole life. Its been my life long dream to travel to Russia. Ive tried everything in my power to learn the language or at least gain a basic understanding. Rosetta Stone goes above and beyond the basic understanding that I at least was aiming for. I started using it the first day I got it and my Russian friend asked me what I did the next morning, so I described what I ate for breakfast. He was so impressed and told me my pronunciation, grammar, and everything was flawless. Im glad I invested $400 into this program. Im part of the way to my language learning dream. halfway there to my life long dream of visiting Russia. Thank you Rosetta Stone I couldnt have done it without you.

Some half-dozen years ago, I took part in building a “demo” course to showcase a learning / course management system (L/CMS) that was merely to be an exploratory space. This was mostly to show the various and full functions of the system for delivering various digital contents, supporting intercommunications, building learning communities, and maintaining student records. This demo course involved curriculum from K-12 and university because this was designed for a wide level of public usage.
Showcasing Quality E-Learning to a University Faculty Audience
Of late, another project involves creating an online showcase course, this time, for university faculty to see how others are building learning in the same L/CMS. This latter project assumes some varying levels of sophistication—from very low levels of sophistication to more complex ones. The overall structure of this course was based on an e-learning quality rubric. This course is being built to support training for faculty teaching online—to encourage more quality e-learning.
Beyond the audience differences and purpose, this latter project has been somewhat different from the initial one. First,

The average hiring manager frequently receives 250+ resumes within a 48 hour period. At best, your resume may get ten seconds to grab his attention.
With these statistics, is it any wonder that the popular tactic of resume flooding doesn’t work?
Thankfully, all is not lost.
On the contrary, proactive job hunting is just as effective as ever. By actively marketing yourself to your target companies, you still can land your dream job.
What is your dream job?
If asked, many people would say describe it as “an accounting position in a medium sized business” or a “social marketing position for a large corporation”. While these may seem like good descriptions at first blush, they actually fail to be useful in practical job hunting.
Instead, define your dream job with as much specificity as possible.
For instance, “A social marketing position in Seattle, Washington with a clear growth path at X, Y, or Z companies”. Now, you know
